Sarita has worked in the voluntary sector for over 20 years. She has lived in Luton since 1978 and has a good understanding of the diverse communities in Luton.

Sarita’s background is in teaching and advice work. Her more recent experience (last 10 years) is in running women’s projects and regeneration and community based projects. This has given her a real insight into the needs of the local community. Having worked in Luton since 1980 Sarita has built up a good network of partnerships with both the voluntary and statutory sectors.

Currently Sarita is managing the Luton All Women’s Centre where there are numerous projects supporting women. Sarita has an excellent understanding of the needs of women and the issues that they have in regards to “Safer and Stronger”
