I am a community activist employed by Marsh Farm Community Development Trust as Education Programme Manager.  I develop and manage a number of projects to improve local educational attainments, which have been extremely successful to date.

It is my role to provide secretariat to the 18 elected Assembly Committee representatives and ensure that the 650 voluntary & community organisations & individuals who make up the Assembly are fully involved in the decisions of the Local strategic Partnership.

My name is Linda Farrell (aka Muddie) and I have been in Luton all my life. I attended Surrey Street Infants, Stopsley Juniors, Luton Girls Grammar School (now Denbigh High) and Luton College (now the University).

As well as managing our voluntary organisation, I am a front line worker with young people. Developing projects for young people in Luton.

I am the Luton Rights Centre Manager. I have been working for Luton Rights for over 13 years as a Welfare Benefits Adviser/Supervisor.

I live and work in Luton, and have been employed in the Health Service for the past thirty years, dealing with the community on a range of social and medical issues including domestic violence, and drug and alcohol misuse.
