The Luton Assembly has been established to help support and empower the community & voluntary sector, giving them a voice and helping them to shape and design service delivery within the town.
There are over 400 voluntary and community organisations (VCOs) in Luton and all of these are automatically eligible to be represented on the Luton Assembly.
Assembly representation on the Luton Forum, the local strategic partnership, consists of 14 representatives from over 400 organisations who form the Assembly, and its Assembly Committee. The Assembly has the largest numerical presence of any partner on the Luton Forum
The work of the Luton Assembly is divided into the work of four theme networks which are: Environment & Economy, Health & Wellbeing, Stronger & Safer Communities and Children & Young People (VISION4)
