“Luton’s diversity is reflected in the strength and breadth of its voluntary and community sector – and as a network we are convinced that makes us a stronger and a safer community. I have been involved in Luton Assembly for over a year now, and have become a great fan of the way that it enables us to work together, and with Luton Borough Council, the Police and all public services for the good of the town.

The multi agency Community Safety Executive, on which we have a representative, view our Network as a positive addition to their decision making process and our network facilitator in place we are now working hard to build the network further, keen to make sure we are representing your views in our work and incorporating them into our plans. I would encourage any organisations to join up, whether you work to build a better and safer neighbourhood, with the vulnerable or victims of crime, with those with life-control challenges, or to strengthen a particular section of the community.

Our  hope is that together we can continue to build a town where all feel they belong, are treated the same and with respect, and can live happy lives.”
