Luton Irish Forum I am the Manager of Luton Irish Forum with responsibilty for our centre, a team of 5 staff, 65 volunteers and a membership of 800 and I report to out Board of Trustees. Over 15,000 users visit out centre annually. I have 5 years experience in working for a national policy development charity and 5 working with learning disability and mental health service users, as a carer and a manager. My strengths are project and organisational developement for adults and older people, particularly with educational, health cultural or social focus, I have expertise in financial management and fundraising and in 2008/9, raised 250k revenue and 329k capital on behalf of LIF. I am currently working towards a 2nd floor extension to LIF's centre. If nominated, I would bring 14 years experience in the field of Health and Social Care, with a passion for user led services and comunity development.
