Nominating organisation: Sorted

I am the Director of Services for Sorted Dunstable and Houghton Regis Youth Counselling Service. A qualified MBAP Accredited  Psychotherapist/Counsellor UKCP Registered. I have a BA Hon's in Psychology. I also have some management ad strategic and development training over the years.

I have worked in both the statutory and voluntary sector for over 17 years in Bedfordshire. I  have held the post with Sorted for five years having developed the services some years before, I then left to develop other skills.

I am part of the development and strategic group of the Bedfordshire Voluntary Agencies Children's Workforce VOC. I also attend the networking VOC meetings. Recently I have been party to the strategic development of Core Standard Employment packs for Bedfordshire which are now being tested by voluntary organisation in Bedfordshire.
I was invited to sit on the panel for the TaCAMH panel as a representative of the voluntary sector organisation tendering for work in Luton schools.

I am very keen on partnership work and development of voluntary sector, recognition by the statutory organisations and for the onregration of services.

I can bring my personal and professional experience to the Assembly and  themed groups for young people.
