Anthony Jules

I have over 20 years experience working in the field of “area regeneration” first, within a Local authority with project management responsibility for estate renewal and more recently with community organisations seeking to transform socially and economically deprived areas utilising European and central government funding. I have a working experience of central government- within the then Department of the Environment, local councils, and voluntary sector bodies and have a good knowledge of their respective structural, financial and management frameworks.

I have served as the client representative in preparing funding bids, securing for estate renewal money and have brokered Partnership deals where mutuality of interest converge thereby leading to enhanced outcomes for stakeholders.

I have worked in a voluntary capacity both in the North and West of Luton with community voluntary organisations which seek to improve their respective areas. As a representative on the Assembly’s committee I would like to explore how community organisations, with strategic support, can more effectively contribute to inward flow of resources to Luton and its economy.
